Kikuyu Tribe - the Largest Tribe in Kenya

Kikuyu tribe is the largest ethnic group in Kenya. Its population is approx. 6mln people and its equal to about 22% of the total population of Kenya.

Like most African tribes, Kikuyu settled in the territory that is now occupied by others. Unlike many other tribes that have settled in this area, Kikuyu people are wandering from place to place. They cultivate their land and grow crops, as well trade with other tribes – such as the well known Maasai.
